Alec Bradley MAXX Cigars Links & Reviews "CIGAR OF THE DAY" MAN UPP CIGARS
Alec Bradley MAXX Cigars "Cigar of the Day" from Man Upp Cigars
Enjoy the true personality of Alec Bradley cigars.
MAXX was designed to deliver an eventful character that was balanced and far from overwhelming. Cloaked by a dark Nicaraguan maduro leaf, a complex, 4-country blend of tobaccos is bound by a tasty Costa Rican Binder. These countries: Columbia, Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico. The result is a medium to full-bodied smoke that’s rich and smooth as silk from the get-go, but filled with toasty, earthy flavors and a natural sweetness on the lingering aftertaste.
Despite the wonderful array of flavors and aroma, what’s most striking about MAXX is the lineup of sizes. Each cigar within the line is quite large, maximizing flavor and strength inside a long, luxurious smoking experience.
Great news, the MAXX received an impressive 9.6 out of 10 from SMOKE Magazine. One panelist noted: "I could find nothing about this cigar that warrants complaining about, except that it doesn’t last forever."
In addition to this impressive score, MAXX also received a well deserved ’91’ rating, stating:
"A good-looking, dark and oily smoke. It has a sweet wood flavor, with toast and spice notes, and it continues to improve as it’s puffed."

Alec Bradley MAXX Connecticut Cigar "Cigar of the Day" Man Upp Cigars
Alec Bradley MAXX Connecticut Cigar Man Upp Cigars "Cigar of the Day"
Another one of Alec Bradley Cigars' most popular brand families is growing. Maxx Connecticut, a new Connecticut wrapped series has been added to the Maxx Cigars brand. But the idea didn't come from inside the company. It came as a result of consumer demand.
"When you sit in a sales meeting and everyone of your sales people tells you that tobacconists are asking for Maxx cigar in a Connecticut wrapper, you have to act, and we did," said Alec Bradley Cigars president, Alan Rubin. "Of course, it doesn't happen overnight either. We have spent a number of years developing the new line. Now, after many more months of tweaking and aging they have this great new line.
Maxx Connecticut is blended with the same core of Nicaraguan, Colombian, Mexican, and Honduran longfiller tobaccos, and Costa Rican binder as the original Maxx line with a very flavorful Connecticut wrapper leaf grown in Ecuador. The cigars are also rolled to Maxx's characteristic wide body shapes ranging in gauge from 54 to a 60 ring.
"Some minor tobacco percentage changes were made to accommodate for the milder Connecticut wrapper," added Rubin. "The result is a silky smooth, rich tasting cigar that produces copious amounts of creamy smoke."
Mr. Rubin hopes the response by cigar smokers at the counters and in the online shopping carts will be as enthusiastic as the requests. "We've always been a company that listens to consumers," said Rubin. "After receiving hundreds of requests for larger ring cigars in a smooth Connecticut wrapper, this line bears that out. This is the true “Everyday Cigar.” Click to View on Man-Upp: http://www.man-uppcigars.com/shop/family/alec_bradley_maxx_connecticut_cigar
